UK Films and Co-Productions heading to Utah in January
Competing in the World Dramatic Competition at Sundance 2018 is the directorial debut from Idris Elba, Yardie. Other UK first-features include the acclaimed I Am Not A Witch from Rungano Nyoni and Beast from Michael Pearce, both screening in the Spotlight strand along with Armando Iannucci’s star-studded The Death of Stalin. Competing in the World Documentary Competition are Stephen Loveridge’s portrait of Sri Lankan artist M.I.A in MATANGI/MAYA/M.I.A and Lorna Tucker’s exploration into the world of iconic designer Vivienne Westwood in Westwood.
