UK films in autumn festivals 2021

UK films and co-pros in selection

This year's selection of UK films and co-pros at 2021 autumn international festivals represents a fantastic showcase of UK talent, from award-winning filmmaker Terence Davies’ biographical drama Benediction in Toronto and San Sebastian, to Harry Wootliff’s True Things and Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho both in selection at Toronto and Venice. Over fourteen UK films are in selection at TIFF (Toronto) this year, in including debut filmmaker Ruth Paxton’s A Banquet, and Gala presentations of BAFTA winner Kenneth Branagh’s latest Belfast and Will Sharpe’s The Electrical Life of Louis Wain. Upcoming festivals also see new features from acclaimed British filmmakers Clio Barnard and Ridley Scott, amongst others.

More features and shorts are expected to be announced in upcoming festivals, and we’re delighted at the UK films in selection.
