This year for the first time, We Are UK Film will have a presence at Focus, the meeting place for international production. Visit Focus site here.
Traditionally a UK event hosted in London, the digital version will see a widening of attendance, demonstrated by over 70% of registrations from non-UK countries.
The We Are UK Film umbrella will house the British Film Commission, the BFI, Creative England, Film London and ScreenSkills, with each organisation making their experts available for meetings and advice.
Specific advice on tax relief and certification will be offered by the BFI Certification team, and experts on the impact of Brexit and Covid on the industry and working practice will also be on hand to take meetings where the on-line advice does not answer a specific question - see here and here.
The Focus programme includes a wide range of talks and events, hosted by exhibitors and national institutions - several of which include involvement from the UK Film umbrella organisations:
